12th Grade Reading Program

Hello 12th Graders.

We´ve finally finished the theory of the literary elements, now it´s time to practice what you´ve learned. What a better oportunity than to start reading the fascinating stories of a major representative of American Literature: Edgar Allan Poe. We´re going to begin with the story of the "Black Cat".

In order to work in class, you are going to be needing your computer, ipad or the following document printed out. I hope you enjoy this story.

Hello 11th graders,

Now that we´ve finished working on the theory of the story elements, it´s time to put it in action. We´re starting to work on one of the most important representatives of American Literature, Edgar Allan Poe. For this assignment, you are going to be reading a fascinating story of this author called
"The Cask of Amontilado".

You will be needing the computer or ipads for your class in order to read the story, or you can print the story out. Here is the story.

MOVIE PROYECT

Hello guys,

We´ve just started to watch the differentes genres in theory, now is time to work with them. Our first assignment is the following.

From the movie of "Gangster Squad" we are going to answer the following questions.

I. Identify it´s genre. Explain with concrete examples from the movie the different characteristics of the genre with the following chart:
